My husband, George T. Crowley, Jr. transcribed the minutes of the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church that were recorded from 1853-1875. A small number of copies of his manuscript were printed and distributed to family members, as well as to several libraries in the DFW area. George planned to transcribe another roll of microfilm containing the minutes from 1875-1914. We hoped that when this was completed that we could publish a two-volume edition of the church minutes. Unfortunately, he was unable to continue working on his project.

A database with names of individuals connected to the church is available. Additional excerpts from the minutes will be added as time permits.
