Minnie B.

by Rex E. Morton

She left in silence;
her lifelong character, true.
Accepting life as it came
and giving more than due.

Beauty was a garden
of irises old and new.
Many kinds and colors,
tended 'til day was through.

Her other love was children,
at church and family too.
Teaching and tending small ones
with patience and kindness anew.

Another joy was travel;
many memories to record.
This time she left in silence,
gone to meet her Lord.
