Our First Award

2/17/1997: Scrappy was thrilled when Sherri Brooks presented The Cat Page Award to his web site. He said that he appreciated all his friends who went Roaming with Scrappy, as they made it possible!

5/17/97: Whiskers the Cat, who claimed to be the first cat to design his own award, gave Scrappy's Nest his Cool Cat Award. The Crowley Cats proudly accepted it for Scrappy, who went to Rainbow Bridge on April 11, 1997.

10/27/97: We were honored to accept a Paw of Excellence award from Kiki's Scratching Post. Kiki is a Canadian cat whose pages set a standard for excellence.

4/1/98: The Purr-fect Place presented their highest honor to Scrappy's Nest. We proudly accepted it in behalf of Scrappy's memory.

4/10/98: We solved the farm puzzle at Albert's Place! Albert is a clever cat who likes puzzles and games. We had lots fun visiting his farm in Sweden, even though we needed a translator.

4/26/98: We received this prize by answering the questions on Dusty's Kiwikat Quiz. Dusty is a very intelligent, fun loving cat who lives in New Zealand. Dusty was the Travel Agent for the Back Fence Cat Club's Cat Travel, Inc. We thoroughly enjoyed his excursions and tours.

5/19/98: We were completely surprised when we received this message:

Deer Scrappie,
I noe youse haz gone too da Raneboe Briddge, butt mabey youse will git dis emale ennywae. Da Kwene (dat's Qween Bitesy at da Cassle) lyked yer Nesst soe mutch dat she tole me ta senn dese awwards to youse. Mabye yer hoomins kin hanng dem up fur youse.

We are grateful to Queen Bitsy and we proudly accept and display these awards on behalf of Scrappy.

6/22/98: We sincerely thank The Society of Meditative Cats for bestowing two of their awards on Scrappy's Nest. Their Sites With Heart Award honors web sites that are concerned about the welfare of animals.

	CatAnna and Monday told us that they gave us their Heavenly Cat Site Award "because your feline-friendly website is a very cool place with really good stories and photos."

12/22/98: Our friends at Cats in the House awarded us a prize just for playing a game!

2/27/99: Queen Bitsy presented her TIFF Award to all who had a hand or paw in the making of A Candle in Memory for their work to inspire and comfort those who have lost a dear companion but have not forgotten the love they felt, among other things."

We humbly accept this award in honor of Scrappy and all his friends. We sincerely thank our friends at Clydesight2.0! for their contribution to Scrappy's memorial page. May all who hear Gert and Eddie's beautiful composition Candle Song be comforted by its gentle melody.

4/24/99: We received this beautiful award from The World of Exotic Cats. Otis the Cat and his humans, Bobby and Henry, told us that they found Scrappy's pages "extremely funtastic and very kool! Made our day out a treat!" If you could visit their web site, later known as The Cat Collective, you'd understand why we are especially proud of this honor.
